In the last 6 years, The Channel Executive Council (formerly Club50) has grown to be the most powerful group of Channel Leaders in the IT/Cloud/Telecom industries. To expand our mission of giving Channel leaders a trusted environment to discuss trends, obstacles, and thoughts unique to their level, Channel Executive Council has expanded to Europe, with the launch of Channel Executive Council EMEA in 2023.
This influential community debates, provides answers and forms an industry consensus on the future of the channels in an environment that is unique for high-level channel executives. This enables member companies to benefit by being at the forefront of thinking on the future of the channels either globally or within their region. It enables members to be at the leading edge in understanding and adapting to the latest trends and opportunities in the industry.
The Channel Executive Council and Channel Executive Council EMEA memberships are by invitation only. As there has always been a waiting list to join, the US Council has recently expanded membership to 60 places and only 50 in EMEA. When recruiting new members, they must be proposed by an existing member and a limited number of invitations are sent to carefully selected VPs of global or regional channel sales in the IT/Telecom industries. Council members are carefully selected to ensure they represent a broad spectrum of established and rapidly growing companies in their industries.
The Channel Executive Council members are a mix of Channel Leaders from both established and newer disruptive companies from the IT/Cloud/Telecom industries. The Councils bring together the most important Channel Leaders of the IT/Cloud/Telecom industries in both the US (of whom 70% have global responsibility) and EMEA.
Each member group, US and EMEA, meets twice annually in in-person meetings and four times virtually in the US with three virtual meetings each year in EMEA. In addition, there is one global virtual meeting each year to bring leaders together and reach a global understanding of the prominent channel issues of today. Channel Executive Council members also have access to a mix of online and in-person resources to enable them to build relationships, network, and enjoy a truly trusted environment that helps all members develop a more powerful and successful channel strategy.
Additionally, regular sub-groups are formed to provide answers to members’ key challenges and opportunities .
